BARNSLEY CENTRAL AREA TEAM - COFFEE, CAKE AND CONFIDENCE

Coffee, Cake and Confidence is a programme aimed at building confidence and self-esteem. 

Each programme runs for three weeks on a Thursday morning, however participants are welcome to come to more than one programme, depending on their needs.  

We have seen people grow in confidence through the programmes. Some, who chose to sit outside 'the circle’ at the beginning are now contributing as part of the group. Others who struggle with anxiety and depression have taken the lead in small groups. There has been peer support and encouragement and people have felt welcomed and cared for.
